Travel

The area is conveniently situated near the M4, M25 and M40 motorways giving easy access to central London, the West and all the surrounding areas of London.

Public Transport

There are frequent bus services making all local attractions and public services, such as hospitals and schools, easily accessible.  To travel to central London is only approximately 25-35 minutes via the Piccadilly or District lines of London Underground.  Alternatively, a convenient way to travel is by rail to London Waterloo which takes about 20 minutes. Heathrow Airport is located nearby which means that this part of West London has a rapid connection to the rest of the world.

Education

Health

The West Middlesex Hospital, in Isleworth. Ashford Hospital and Ealing Hospital are three of several hospitals in the area providing the full range of in-patient and outpatient services.

Recreation and Leisure

Hounslow Leisure Services provide leisure centres and pools in Brentford, Chiswick, Heston, Feltham and Isleworth.  Facilities include gymnasium, sauna, sunbeds, swimming pools and exercise rooms. There are also many private health clubs providing excellent facilities with state of the art equipment.

Libraries

There are district libraries in Hounslow, Chiswick and Feltham as well as 8 branch libraries in various parts of the borough.

Golf

As well as Hounslow Heath Golf Club Course there is Chiswick Bridge Golf Range and West Middlesex Golf Club, Southall.

Cinema/Theatre

The Watermans Arts Centre in Brentford has a cinema, theatre, gallery. workshops and licensed bar and cafe.
